An Alternative Retreat.

The servants of Srila Prabhupada derive great pleasure and satisfaction in introducing the Lord’s unfathomable mercy to whoever will listen. Accordingly, they use their God given intelligence to identify various avenues to spread this absolute message.

The Mayapur Tourism Department is happy to announce that a nice article on our Mayapur project has been placed in the Jet airways monthly magazine “Jet Wings”. The three page article entitled “ An Alternative Retreat” is loaded with vibrant pictures and gives a brief description of our ISKCON complex, various local holy sites, and even instructions on how to reach and book a room in Mayapur.

Anyone who has taken a long plane ride knows that at some point in the flight, passengers are mysteriously attracted to reading these magazines which are placed within arms reach of their seat. This is the first time an article about Mayapur has been placed in such a widely circulated flight magazine.

With the aim of placing more high quality articles in travel oriented periodicals we are working with several other airlines and travel agencies. So far we have been successful in placing Mayapur articles and advertisements in several popular tourist magazines. These include “Kolkatta on Wheels,” “India Tourism,” “Safari Plus,” and a leading Tamil magazine entitled “AmudaSurabhi.”
